Ever feel like that voice in your head is bullying you?
âYouâre not lovable.â
âYouâre too much.â
âYouâll never be enough.â
Thatâs not you.
Thatâs your inner child, still carrying the pain of being unseen, unheard, unloved. Sheâs not trying to tear you down â sheâs begging for attention, safety, and love. (Credit to book "Anger" by Thich Nhat Hahn)
To quiet her voice, you must first listen.
When she says things like ânobody loves you,â donât shut her down â retrain her. Those words are echoes of a time when love may have felt distant or conditional. But you get to change the script now.
Repeat after me:
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am special.
I am held.
Say it again. And again. And again.
Not because youâre trying to fake it â but because youâre reprogramming your mind the same way it was programmed before: through repetition.
Letâs break the cycle. Letâs raise our inner child with the love we always deserved.
