Two women discussing NeuroTools; Tuesday's calendar visible

Have you ever felt SO excited to share something during a conversation that your brain starts buzzing and your mouth wants to interrupt?

That’s a beautiful part of being neurodivergent—your thoughts connect quickly, your emotions engage deeply, and your spirit wants to participate fully. But honoring others while staying true to your spark can feel hard.

Here’s a mindful tool that helps:

When someone is talking and something lights up in you—

Pick ONE word that represents what you want to say.

Attach it to your pinky finger—literally.

Gently lift your pinky as a silent reminder.

That one word becomes your anchor.

Your pinky becomes your placeholder.

You stay present. You don’t interrupt. You don’t forget.

This is about balance—holding space for others and yourself.

It’s about mindful communication that works with your neurodivergence, not against it.

Try it out this week. Let your pinky be your partner in presence.
